I am back in the states safely. Had a wonderful last few days in mx after a rough couple of days so im glad i left 'my' (half) country on good terms. Now im back in My HOME country and am so grateful for my life, my family, my friends, and my culture- north and south of the border.

yes....im doimg exactly what most are hoping i wouldnt dare post a pocture of. but events take place in real time!

my last Mexican 'jugo curativo' : beets, carrots, spinach, and celery. i need to buy a nice blender in the states!

events occur in real time.

24 hours left until i board a plane. 1 month was a great amount time. i feel like my blog could have been more interesting, but Dr. Drew would say blogs should be for the writer, or else the mirror effect can take hold.

Im happy DF still has a nice WTC tower. The billboard captured is awesome as well.

my trip has been cut short....

thanks to all supporters, financially, emotionally, and with learning spanish. my return to the us will be sooner than planned. i have the tools i need to continue learning the language at home and for various reasons, an early return is necessary. mexico is indeed a different country, city, life, and culture than what i am accustomed to. in later postings i will elaborate and place judgement on some of these diffferences. place judgement= critique, i suppose.

what a great feeling....

to feel 'at home' at several different places. (or maybe that's called being a grateful vagabond)

Went to Mexican movie theater for 1st time since 2000.

Javi, Rod, y yo, fuimos al cine para ver la pelicula  Limitless.  Very entertaining and very entertaining to watch a movie in english with spanish subtitles now, because I can't help but notice when the translation  loses the major component of humor.  I might start to go see more movies, i think it helps to hear and read at the same time.

and i told them to do as they wished....i like have full service wash before and after cut, two people tending to me offering me drinks and i got to pay what i pay in the US, including the 100% tip i was able to leave.
