Pardon the delays....

I know it has been several days since I posted, not because I have abandoned the blog, but because the Internet connection in my family's house has been down for several days and AT&T is out to really f#^+} me if use the international roam on my phone. Anyway I'm at a local restaurant where they have wi fi if you buy a meal. Anyway
Things are going really well. I had my first dream that was involved English and Spanish. When I have my first dream in Spanish (if ever) that will be a huge milestone. Im Wah beyond my original hurdle of being embarrassed to make mistakes and since I got over that I've been improving at a much faster rate. Even as I write this I'm thinking of Spanish phrasing and sentence structure and I have to reread my English. = good sign.
My family has been so helpful and very generous with everything. I'm so grateful to have this opportunity. There has been one day that I felt homesick to the point of watery eyes but it was more because when I reflect on my father's emigration I can't help but feel overcome with gratitude and the desire to hug and kiss him and say thank you for your sacrifices. More to come. Hopefully Internet gets fixed soon. Know that I'm well and im safe (for now).
